 LG Polls: Why Ndi Nnewi don't need a rubber stamp Local Government Chairman:

The people of Nnewi deserve a Local Government Chairman who will champion their interests and bring about meaningful development to the area. A rubber stamp Chairman who only takes instructions from higher authorities without questioning or contributing to decision-making processes will not suffice. Nnewi needs a leader who is visionary, courageous, and willing to challenge the status quo to bring about positive change.

A rubber stamp Chairman will only perpetuate the existing power dynamics, leaving the people of Nnewi without a voice or representation. The community needs someone who will engage with them, understand their needs, and work tirelessly to address them. A leader who will bring people together, foster collaboration, and drive progress through inclusive decision-making.


It's time for Nnewi to have a Chairman who will put the people first, not just follow orders from above. The community deserves a leader who will fight for their rights, attract investments, and create opportunities for growth and development. Let's reject the idea of a rubber stamp Chairman and demand a leader who will truly represent and serve the people of Nnewi.
